Holbeck Youth Centre

menspace

Holbeck Youth Centre is based off Elland Road and is a busy and bustling centre which houses The Bridge.

The Bridge is Health for All's Learning Disability Service (for adults). We are based at Holbeck Community Centre, open Monday to Friday (9am to 3pm).

We are a friendly, person centred service (no more than 16 customers per day) which offers a range of activities tailored to customers' expressed interests. These include boxercise, football, tag rugby, arts and crafts, movement, drama, music, a walking group, cooking and computers.

We support our customers to undertake paid or voluntary work whenever possible and seek opportunities to engage with the wider community. Further Information from Contact Carol-Ann Reed (Service Manager) on 0113 2762720.

Our Cupboard Project regularly holds early evening activities for young people at the centre. Upbeat Mondays Sports and Activities group meets Mondays, 5-6.30pm. While Peer 2 Peer Group meet the same day.

The B12 Boys Group and Goal+ for girls and boys meet on Tuesdays.

The centre also features computers with free internet access for local residents.

Active Clubs Experience (ACE) Project is also based at the centre, and a number of local community groups regularly hire the centre for meetings. Leeds South Foodbank is also based here.

Holbeck Youth Centre is based at 90A Elland Road, Holbeck, LS11 0AB and can be hired. Telephone (0113) 2762720.
