Learning Disabilities
The Bridge is Health for All's Learning Disability Service (for adults). We are based at Holbeck Community Centre, open Monday to Friday (9am to 3pm).
Presently we cater solely for former customers of Moorend and West Ardsley Day Centres, as part of the city wide modernisation of provision for learning disabilities.
We are a friendly, person centred service (no more than 16 customers per day) which offers a range of activities tailored to customers' expressed interests. These include boxercise, football, tag rugby, arts and crafts, movement, drama, music, a walking group, cooking and computers.
We support our customers to undertake paid or voluntary work whenever possible and seek opportunities to engage with the wider community.
